Student Sues School After Getting "F" A former student is suing the Episcopal School of Acadiana after she received an F in a class. According to The Advocate the student admitted to violating the schools honor code and received an F as a result. The student is suing to have the F removed from her transcript and for $50,000 to compensate the student for her "humiliation, distress, and damage to her reputation."This was a local story that happened here in my parish. It is sad that she admitted to cheating, but still doesn't want to take the consequence of her action. She cheated and she got caught. She needs to either not cheat, (the right and moral choice, or the flip side she not very proficient at cheating) or learn how to cheat better. Also shame shame on the parents for bring this lawsuit to bear. Regardless of the many excuses their child gave them, they are still responsible to teach her the lessons of self responsibility. Hopefully Naked Ownership will update this story, if they haven't done already. If this case actually goes to trial, then I know without a doubt that America society is crumbling, decaying, falling apart, and go ahead, add your own descriptive word to the list.
