Naked Ownership: Louisiana's Cable TV Companies Ask to be Plaintiffs
Our local government is trying to set up its own digital lines for high speed internet and other technologies. The Corporations of BellSouth and Cox Cable are fighting it. Of course these are the only companies offering high-speed access in the area. I have had minimal exposure to this due to being offshore for most of the Fall and Winter. The government idea does seem workable, and the more options the better for the consumer.
